Birkie Trail Grind Test

Posted by Tom Carlson on Nov 29th 2014

While Matt Liebsch was testing away in West Yellowstone, I thought it would be great to sneak up to the American Birkebeiner Trails at "OO". I figured, "It would be great to have dual grind testing in two different places in North America at the same time." When I arrived at "OO", there were a decent number of skiers already there and thoroughly enjoying themselves. Everyone was happy just to be skiing on high quality snow before Thanksgiving. This was by FAR the earliest that I've ever skied on the Birkie Trail system. A huge hats off to the groomers!

After ski testing, I switched over to classic skiing and enjoyed an easy hour of skiing around the lighted loop at "OO". It was great to get away and enjoy the quiet of the Birkie Trail. What a blessing it is to escape to such a beautiful area and trail system.
