What clothes do you bring race day?  “I have a giant bag and I literally place every piece of ski clothing in the bag”

What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done?  Tried a new food on race day and it made me sick.

What do you wear when it’s really cold?  Swix base layer pant, wind briefs ON TOP.  For feet, embrocation, but it burns so use caution.

On the face, I use Dermotone

What do you pack after for after the Birkie?  Extra dry socks, and a puffy coat

What do you wear when it’s cold on race day?  A Onsie, Craft Wind briefs, thermal compression tights, on the face I use Warm Skin

Biggest mistake during a race?  Wearing running shorts when it was zero.

Al

What do you wear when it’s really cold on race day?  Two layers if it’s really cold, wind briefs.

What do you put on your face?  Vaseline.

What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done during a race?  Skipped the wind briefs.

What do you wear when it’s cold?  Two thin layers and a shell that has a wind block.  Balaclava, then a hat over it.

What do you put on your face?  LOTS of vaseline.

What is the biggest mistake you’ve made?  Underdressing for the Birkie, it took a long time to warm up.

Advise?  If you get cold hands, have someone at OO waiting with a fresh pair of gloves, the switch is a lifesaver.
