The fall has absolutely flown by! US Nationals will be here before we know it. My fall, like my summer, has gone incredibly well. My hours are up and so is the quality. I am currently finishing up a hard week and will rest Monday before throwing all I have left into Thanksgiving Week for the final hard training week of the fall. Unlike years past, we have had plenty of snow in November and are set up perfectly for a quality on snow camp here in Marquette. I recently switched to Rossignol skis and boots and am super stoked to try my new fleet over the next few weeks. I should have no problem dialing everything in before Nationals with all this snow. I am also excited to try the new Gear West grinds as I am sure they will be flying! Following a hard Thanksgiving week I will begin to come down in hours as I prepare for Nationals. We have a few tune up races with other college teams the first few weekends in December, but those are not races to put any stock in. I will use them to continue to work on technique and as quality workouts.
Since Nationals has been at altitude the last two years, I have spent the entirety of Christmas Break out West. I am very much looking forward to spending this Christmas at home in the Midwest. It will be sweet checking out Hyland's new manmade 5k and also skiing with all my Midwest buddies. I owe a huge thank you to Gear West and Matt Leibsch for spending time evaluating my fleet and making sure I have fast skis when it counts. I’m ready for one harder week and then the racing season can begin! I have some big goals this season and I feel they are achievable given the shape I am in! Happy Thanksgiving!

No shortage of snow in Marquette!
Can’t beat the views on morning runs. That sun makes everything a little less chilly.
Pretty relaxing view from my back porch.
