I've heard it a hundred times, "Upper body strength is critical if you want to improve your skiing". This year I finally took it to heart.
Mid-summer physical therapist Craig Ringsven created a strength regime for me. It involved a nice mix of core, upper body, and leg work. To execute the entire program twice took about 50 minutes. Late this September my son, Mike, (who cross country skied in high school and college) met me at LA Fitness and added several more upper body exercises to my program.
Tricep pull-downs + assisted pullups are two parts of my program not shown in this video.
