Craig is a physical therapist with Twin Cities Orthopedics that specializes in running and skiing. He works with all joints in the body, both surgical and non-surgical, with a special interest in runners and nordic skiers. He focuses on manual therapy as well as therapeutic exercises to help reduce pain and restore function. Craig has a high school coaching background and a history of division one collegiate racing in running and cross-country skiing. He currently coaches for the Minnesota Youth Ski League.
The goal of the physical therapist consultation is to help skiers and runners identify aspects of their technique that may be contributing to pain and injuries associated with exercise. The physical therapist will perform a comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluation that includes:
Running & Walking: (Available Tuesdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm, $20)
- Postural assessment
- Manual muscle testing
- Flexibility testing
- Functional movement screening
- Biomechanical analysis
- Instruction in running-specific exercises
- Kinesio and McConnel taping
Craig will then work closely with our footwear experts to put you into the correct shoe for you running style.
Skiing: (Available Tuesdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm, $20)
- Postural assessment
- Manual muscle testing
- Flexibility testing
- Functional movement screening
- Biomechanical analysis
- On-snow video(or roller ski) analysis of ski technique using Dartfish video technology
The therapist will then customize a Nordic ski specific plan to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury. This may include:
- Ski specific strengthening and stretching exercises
- Corrections of faulty ski mechanics
- Corrections of postural impairments
- Manual therapy to address joint and soft tissue restrictions

We want you to be happy with your purchase from Gear West, and if for any reason you need to return or exchange an item we want to make it as easy as possible for you to do so.
RETURN/REFUND POLICY
- Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Store credit may be given after 30 days.
- Items must be in new and unused condition and must be returned with all original packaging.
- Clothing items (shoes, boots, and apparel) must be clean and unworn with all original hang tags still attached.
- Partial store credit may be issued if product is returned in used condition or if not returned with original packaging.
- Returns of mounted skis will be charged a 25% restocking fee. Service (mounting, grinds, hotboxes, etc.) will not be refunded.

- Gear West does not issue shipping labels or credit shipping costs.
HOW TO RETURN/EXCHANGE AN ITEM
- Pack returned items with original packaging and ship via UPS, Fedex, or USPS insured mail, and include Attn: Returns on the label (see more below)
- If your purchased was completed using a gearwest.com account, you can sign into your account and request a return or exchange. You will be asked to provide an explanation for your return.
- If you made your purchase over the phone or as a guest, please return the item with the receipt, and give a brief explanation for your return and if you are requesting a refund or exchange.
