$45 Pre-Race Tune–Up & Safety Check  

This tune-up is for those who require one last check before race day.   

  • Installation of race wheels 
  • Spot truing of wheels 
  • Adjustment/ lubrication of derailleurs and brakes 
  • Clamps and bolts are properly torqued

Basic Service Package $80.00

Recommended every 50 riding-hours or 1-2 times a Riding season. 

 Gear West’s Basic Service Package covers adjustments on all the Major Systems on a bicycle. This Package is recommended for bikes that are in good condition but need a look over before heading back out on the road or trail. 


  • Basic Frame Wipe Down  
  • Inspected for damage  


  • Derailleur Limit Screws set  
  • Gears indexed for optimal shifting  
  • Chain Lubed  


  • Cable Pull Adjusted  
  • Pad Alignment  


  • Headset, Bottom Bracket and Hubs Adjusted  


  • Lateral Wheel true

FULL (Expert) Service Package $150.00

Recommended every 50-100 riding-hours or once a year.  

The Full Service Package represents Gear West’s best value. This package is recommended for bikes that need a little more TLC to get running great again or for Riders who want their bike to ride like new.

The Full Service Package includes everything from the Basic Service Package plus:  


  • Chain, cassette/freewheel, crankset and both derailleurs removed and deep cleaned. 


  • Polished. 


  • Brake surfaces and pads resurfaced. 
  • Cables greased. 
  • $10 off brake bleeds. 


  • Radial and dish checked. 

Includes Labor on  

  • New cable and housing installation. 
  • Installation of new drivetrain components; chains, cassette and crankset.

The Works (Pro) Service Package Starts at $250.00

Recommended every 100-200 riding-hours or every two years.  

Our Gear West Mechanics put on their World Tour Mechanic caps and comb through every millimeter of your bike. Recommended for the Rider who wants the absolute best performance out of their bike. Whether that performance need is saving every watt possible during a Triathlon bike leg, KOM/QOM hunting on a road bike or going for a PR on your local MTB trail. This is the Package for you. 

The Works Service Package includes everything in the Full Service Package plus:

One on One time (by appointment) with your bike mechanic to discuss your personal bike needs.   


  • Brake Bleed Labor. 
  • Hydraulic brake pistons cleaned. 


  • All bearing systems overhauled or replaced. 


  • Freehubs cleaned and lubed. 
  • Labor on Tubeless set up. 


  • Half off labor for lower leg service and shock air sleeve service. 

Includes Labor on  

  • Grip/Bar tape installation. 
  • All component installation.

 Suspension Services 

Lower's Overhaul $70 + Parts Kit 

  • This service involves dropping the lowers, cleaning and inspecting the fork, replacing all seals and O-rings and re-installation of everything with fresh suspension oil. The parts involved range in price depending on the model of the front fork. This service is recommended every 40-50 hours of ride time depending on model/ brand of fork. This service is similar to getting the oil changed in your car. 

 Full Overhaul $120 + Parts 

  • The Full Overhaul includes everything in the Lower's Overhaul plus the removal, cleaning, and inspection of the spring and damper sides of the fork. The spring and damper sides are then re-installed with all new seals, O-rings and fresh suspension oil.  This service is recommended every 100-200 hours of ride time depending on model/ brand of fork. 

Rear Shock Air Sleeve Service $45 + Parts 

  • This service includes the removal, inspection, cleaning and replacement of all seals and O-rings of the shock's air sleeve. This service is recommended every 40-50 hours of ride time.
