December 13-16 Wax Recommendations

We have been busy testing the new fluor free waxes this early winter, if you are looking for a recommendation for this weekend’s races, see below.  We have tested waxes from Swix, Rex, Rode, Star and Start, among others, below are some recommendations that will make your skis fast in these fluor-free times.

Friday - Sunny, with a high near 13. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Friday Night - A slight chance of snow after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 5. Southeast wind around 5 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Saturday - A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30. Southeast wind around 5 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Saturday Night - A chance of snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 9pm, then a slight chance of snow and freezing rain between 9pm and 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 26. Southeast wind around 5 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
