December 7 Skadi's Chase 2024 Wax Recommendation

We have been busy testing the new fluor free waxes this early winter, if you are looking for a recommendation for this weekend’s races, see below.  We have tested waxes from Swix, Rex, Rode, Star and Start, among others, below are some recommendations that will make your skis fast in these fluor-free times.

Weather-

Today - Mostly cloudy, with a high near 28. West wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight - Patchy freezing fog between 10pm and 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. Calm wind becoming south southwest around 5 mph after midnight.

Saturday - Partly sunny, with a high near 45. West southwest wind around 10 mph.

Recommendation-

Preparation – Swix I84 Glide Cleaner, Swix Base Prep Liquid

Baselayer – Swix Marathon Powder

Topcoat – Swix TST7, Rex NF41

Structure – LZ2, PL2+ stonegrind with no additional hand structure
